Add Archivist to Claude. Claude opens with the name and address already filled in. Because the link comes from our site, Claude asks you to check them first.

Confirm the name reads Archivist and the address reads https://mcp.mosaic-finance.com/mcp, then select Add and sign in with your Mosaic account.

Prefer to enter it yourself? In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, select Add custom connector, and paste https://mcp.mosaic-finance.com/mcp.
Custom connectors work on Claude's Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector.
On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it once under Organization settings, then Connectors.

In Claude Code, run this command, then type /mcp to sign in.

ChatGPT

Archivist is added through developer mode for now. Developer mode is available on ChatGPT's paid Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education plans, on the web.

Open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
Open ChatGPT plugins, press the plus button, name it Archivist and paste the server URL below.
Sign in with your Mosaic account when ChatGPT asks.

Then run archivist auth login once with a CLI key from your account page. Binaries are also on GitHub Releases.
