Built by people who read the footnotes.
Research you can check, straight from the filings.
About Mosaic
Mosaic builds Archivist, an AI research tool for company filings. It reads global filings (SEC, SEDAR+, KAP and expanding), answers in plain language, and shows the exact passage behind every statement. We build it for analysts, advisors, and finance and legal professionals who need a specific answer they can verify.
Why we exist
We are a team with experience across a wide array of fields, from deal making and corporate finance to mining, energy, law and cybersecurity. All of it taught us the same thing: the market is loud with noise and opinion, while the facts sit quietly elsewhere.
The companies we followed, with different motivations and questions, across different geographies and languages, required a better search tool that nothing quite answered. So we built the thing we wanted.
Filings are where companies go on the record, footnotes and all. An AI tool on its own skims summaries of summaries; Archivist reads the original filings, so every answer comes from the record itself. Accuracy comes down to how many eyeballs get to check the work, so we put yours on every answer.
What we're building
- •Filing research at scale. Ask in plain language across more than two million global filings (SEC, SEDAR+, KAP and expanding), and get answers cited to the page.
- •Evidence beside every answer. Every statement links to its source. One click opens the filing beside the answer, scrolled to the passage and highlighted.
- •One question, many companies. Ask the same questions across many companies at once, with a cited answer for each.
- •Inside the tools you already use. Run Archivist from the command line or through MCP in your own assistant, with every run saved to your account for review.
- •Relationship intelligence, in early access. Ownership structures, board connections, joint ventures and related parties, mapped from regulatory filings.
